Chris is a Scheme Actuary at Barnett Waddingham and advises trustees on the full range of scheme actuary work, including pension scheme funding, as well as on broader strategic matters.
Chris is one of Barnett Waddingham's thought leaders on Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and advising clients on their long term journey plan to get to either buy-out or a low risk strategy. As a result Chris is a regular speaker at industry events.
Until recently Chris was a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries' working party on Integrated Risk Management (IRM). As part of this he co-authored a guide for actuaries on how to implement IRM in practice.
Chris also advises trustees and corporates on strategies for engaging members on their options (so called "liability management"), and until recently led our team that advises clients on the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) levy and how it can be managed.
