Mark Austin has been with Northern Trust for twelve years. He is a Senior Vice President with the Institutional Investors Group and is currently the Head of the UK. Mr Austin has extensive experience in dealing with multinational pension clients across Europe and understands the demands of CCF and Unit Trust clients as they relate to Management Company's. Before joining Northern Trust Mr Austin worked for JP Morgan as a sales lead but also managing relationships with Investment Managers and prior to this he worked for Henderson Administration as Head of Custody as well as roles in middle office outsourcing. Mr Austin currently serves as a UK pension fund trustee on a combined DB/DC trust based scheme as well as a representative on the Pension Policy sub-committee of The Tax Incentivised Savings Association additionally Mr Austin is a director of the Northern Trust Luxembourg Management Company S.A.

Antony is the former pensions director and CIO at Santander UK where he delivered a 15% pa return for the award-winning GBP11bn fund, creating an innovative portfolio of investments covering entertainment arenas, yacht marinas, Mexican gas pipelines, student housing, Nigerian telephone masts, mushroom farms and a cyber-attack proof phone that features in Washington's International Spy Museum! He is credited with turning the bank's legacy pension arrangements into an operating business, driving out costs and improving the tax and risk management. With a degree in Banking & Finance, Antony trained as an actuary and still oversees the South African investment exams.
Antony is currently assisting one of the new UK private sector superfunds and launching an exchange for primary and secondary markets in infrastructure and real asset backed project bonds, as well as as well as creating investment opportunities connected to pioneer signals for venture capital, AI, blockchain and 5G wifi connectivity for aircraft.

Silvia joined Hermes in October 2017. As an experienced global economist, she is responsible for providing macroeconomic analysis and commentary, non-standard macroeconomic modelling, and developing relationships with key central banks and monetary authorities. Silvia previously spent 10 years at Prologue Capital Ltd, latterly as a global economist responsible for the team's macroeconomic view. She holds a Master of Science in Economic and Social Sciences, as well as a Bachelor in Economic and Social Sciences, from Bocconi University in Italy.

Head of Investment Strategy
Ian is Head of Investment Strategy and Liquid Portfolio Management at the Pension Protection Fund. He has been at the PPF since September 2016 where his responsibilities include strategic and tactical asset allocation, as well as the PPF's liquid asset portfolios invested in equities, fixed income and absolute return. Prior to joining the PPF, Ian worked for more than 20 years as an equity strategist with Lehman Brothers, Nomura and Barclays. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Ian worked as an economist at Postel Investment Management, the Confederation of British Industry and Bankers Trust. Ian holds a Bachelors' and Masters' Degree in Economics from the University of Warwick, and studied investment management at the London Business School.

Chris Ames is a Portfolio Manager, Securitized, at Schroders, based in New York. He joined Schroders in 2007. Chris was Portfolio Manager at Schroders from 2007 to 2010, he was previously a Portfolio Manager, ABS at Cheyne Capital from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, he was the Head of Structured Credit Research at BNP Paribas from 2002 to 2005. Chris has an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Psychology from Boston University.

Georg Elsaesser is a Senior Portfolio Manager within the Invesco Quantitative Strategies team. He has long-standing experience in the area of factor investing and assumes responsibility for a broad range of Invesco's factor-based investment strategies. Georg joined Invesco in 2016 as a Senior Portfolio Manager from Allianz Global Investors where he was a director of their systematic equity division covering global equities. Previously, he worked as sell-side equity and multi-asset strategist at WestLB. Georg also served as an investment analyst in the asset management division of CologneRe, where he focused on equities and asset allocation. He received a "Diplom" degree in Business Mathematics from the University of Dortmund, Germany, in 1999.

Dean Johnson is the Group Pensions Investments Officer for Sainsbury's where he has worked for the last ten years. He has held pensions investment roles with three other large organisations (both public and private) covering pension plans in the UK, Europe and the USA over a career spanning more than thirty years. Dean is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute and has an honours degree from the University of Birmingham.

Jonathan is a senior solutions strategy manager within the solutions group responsible for providing client specific investment strategy input and investment ideas. Jonathan joined LGIM in 2016 from BlackRock where he held the title of Vice President in the Client Solutions practice. Jonathan's responsibilities included investment research, thought leadership and production of trade ideas. Jonathan was a member of the active LDI and multi-asset tactical asset allocation committees. Prior to that, Jonathan worked as an investment consultant at Deloitte focussing on asset and liability modelling. Jonathan earned an MPhil in statistics from Churchill College Cambridge, BSc in mathematics from Durham University and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Wolfram Klingler is co-founder and managing partner of XTP AG. Richard is Head of Northern European Distribution for Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2004 and has 33 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Richard worked at ABN Amro as director of institutional business development. Previously, he worked as business development director at Fleming Asset Management and prior to that, as finance director at Fleming Pooled Pensions. Richard received a B.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Manchester and is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.

Ted Logan, CAIA, Director, is a member of the BlackRock Alternative Specialists group. He is responsible for business development of BlackRock's Alternative Solutions and Hedge Funds Solutions platforms across the EMEA region. He has over 15 years of experience in alternative investments and financial services.
Mr. Logan joined the firm in 2012, having served in business development roles at GLC Limited and Aspect Capital, both London-based quantitative hedge funds. He was on the board of directors in the role of Marketing Director at GLC responsible for global investor relations and business development. At Aspect, he was the Director of the New York office. Prior to joining Aspect in 2002, Mr. Logan was an associate at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management having served roles within the Goldman Sachs Trust Company and Goldman.com. Mr. Logan began his career in Silicon Valley with E*Trade Securities and a few engineering software start-up companies.
From 2008 to 2015, Mr. Logan served on the Board of Advisors of IPSA International, a privately held firm before being sold to Root9b Technology, Inc., a cybersecurity company. Marc-Olivier Buffle joined Pictet Asset Management in 2014 as a Senior Product Specialist in the Thematic Equities team.
Before joining Pictet, Marc was at RobecoSAM where he was senior analyst, then head of industrials and finally head of SI research. Prior to that he was responsible for business development at the Danaher Corporation. Marc started his career at Trojan Technologies in London Canada, where he lead an R&D team focusing on water treatment technologies.
Marc holds a MSc in engineering from the ETH in Zurich, and a PhD from EAWAG in Environmental Chemistry and is the author of patents, scientific articles, technical and financial publications.
Zuhair recently joined LCP as an investment partner. He has advised UK and overseas pension clients over the last 30 years. Martin runs a team of high yield professionals responsible for $5bn in AUM that focus on global opportunities. The group is located across Hong Kong, London and the USA. He joined LGIM in September 2011 from Alliance Bernstein, where he worked for thirteen years. At his previous employer he held various roles, established the European fixed income business, sat on the board of the European subsidiary and latterly ran the global credit research team. Martin was a founding director of the European High Yield Association and was Co-Vice Chair of AFME's High Yield Board. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young and gained a MA from Saint Catharine's College Cambridge University, where he read economics.

Mike Rogers works closely with large UK pension scheme clients to ensure solutions are tailored to meet their unique needs. Mike has 25 years' industry experience and joined Aon in 2015 from Towers Watson's fiduciary investment team where he was responsible for the development of the whole fund delegated proposition. He worked on some of Towers Watson's largest clients (from £500m to c£2bn) as well as leading development of a proposition for the small-mid market. He also had various content development roles including membership of the UK Portfolio Construction Group. Prior to focussing on the fiduciary business, Mike worked in the investment strategy team giving advice to clients on flight planning, risk analysis, portfolio construction, hedge implementation and design and options strategies. Mike is a qualified Actuary and graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Physics.
Head of European Infrastructure Debt
Jonathan Stevens, Managing Director, is the Head of European Infrastructure Debt within BlackRock Real Assets. Mr Stevens is responsible for developing BlackRock's focus in Europe on both directly originated and bi-lateral deals, in combination with agented transactions.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr Stevens had 18 years' experience in leading the origination and execution of infrastructure transactions in the UK, Continental Europe, North America and Australia. In his last role Mr Stevens was Head of European Infrastructure at CIBC and sat on its European Operating Committee and European Deals Committee. Previously, Mr Stevens worked at WestLB where he led its EMEA Infrastructure debt business and its team of 18 bankers in London, Dusseldorf, Madrid and Milan.
